A meeting of the above Council was held at Paeroa on Thursday afternoon. Tenders were accepted as follows :— 7 Carting 550 cubic yards of broken metal on the -main road between Karangalmke and Waikino, E Bain, £37 10s ; carting 620 cubic yards of broken metal on Komata Creek Road, P. Treunor, £4l 6s; ituproviug a portion of the Karangahake reservoir track, S. Bain, £37 ; forming 98 chains of drain on the Te Aroha Main Road, E. Cook son. £lB7 lUs. It was decided til st the survey of the Waikino water cousorvati >n area be proceeded with at unco. The i ugineer reported that the cost of a band rotunda at Karangahalte wouM be £125. and it was cLoulud Lo proceed with the woi k.
