Thames Jockey Club.

The annual meeting of the Than;, s Jockey Club was held the. other evening, Mr A. Bruce presiding. The election of the committee resulted in the return of Messrs A. Bruce, G. E. Buokland, <T. Mr C. J. Winder ; judge, Iff Barclay ; handicapper, Mr R. Wyu yard fSt liter, Mr K Hank in ; clerk of scales, Mr W. Taylor; clerk of course, Mr A. Bateman ; timekeeper, Mr D. Twohill ; stewards, Messrs Bruce, Winder, Stewart, Longhlin, Buckland, and Twohill ; special committee, Messrs Bruce, Winder, Inglis, and Stewart. Ihe annual report showed the club to be in a sound financial position, the sum of £SOO having been paid off the mortgage on the Parawai property during the year, together with an expenditure of £ll2 for improvements.
