Dairy cows sold at £3 5s to £7 los ; heifers, £2 12s 6d to £5 15s; empty do., £1 ISs to £3 sa; calves, 13s to £1 18s. Beef showed a slight improvement on last week’s rates, oxen selling up to 23s per 1001 b. Steers sold at £6 15s to £ll 7s 6d ; cows, £3 15s to £7 ss. Sheep were yarded in scarcely average numbers, and showed no improvement in price.* Wethers sold from 14s 3d'to.£l 2s ’6d ; ewes, 8s to 19s ; hoggets, 9s to los 9d.
