Druid Installation.
On Tuesday evening 1 last, 'Notwithstanding the inclement 'weather, there was 1 a very good attendance of members and visitors at the iocal Druid’s Lodge, when the installation of officers for the ensuing terra took place. Bro. E. Devey, D.P., was the installing officer, and the following were installed :—Bro. F. Mackie, P.A.; Bro. H. Whitehead, A.D.; Bro E. Beswick, V.A.D.Bro* J. White, I.G ; Bro. J. Maloney, 0.G.; Bro. G. H- Deverell, Secretary ; Bro. R. Fawcett, treasurer,Bros T. Wilkes and W. McKedfc, A.D.B.’s ; Bro. H. Bougen and Hr Atkinson, • V.A.D.B’s; Bros- W. A Biggs arid G. Cornish, auditors. Before the Lodge closed several new members were proposed. This Lodge is becoming more popular every year, and the present generation are beginning to appreciate the many benefits derived, from belonging to a well-organized Friendly Society. ■ •
