Waihou Tennis Club.
The annual social of the above club was held in the Public Hall at Waihou on Friday last, and was well attended. The arrangements which were in the hands of Miss H. Taylor, the efficient secretary of the club and energetic committee, were most complete, and a very enjoyable evening was spent. The music was supplied by Mclnman’s Orchestra and was everything that could be desired. Supper was handed round at 11 p.m., after which dancing was resumed and kept up with spirit till 1 p.m. Mr D. Borrie carried out the duties of M.O. Extras were played during the evening by Misses Taylor and Yoysey, and Mr Conning.
