The hall was pretty decorated with ferns and flowers, an a very enjoyable time was spent dOHpL 1 the damping effects of the weather. The music was rendered in Mr Watt’s usual efficient. manner, _a, number of friends assisting extras. Songs, which greatly • added M to the enjoyment, were rendered by Miss Gordon, Messrs Love.* and McKearney, while the old favourites, > Messrs Love and Mackenzie,‘had to submit to an encore for their song and dance. A dainty sapper was handed round, which received due attention.. During the evening Mr Campbell, behalf of the Hockey Club, presented / Miss Innes with a handsome suv** mounted hand mirrowi In making the presentation Mr Campbell '• ferred to the popularity of Miss Innesp and wished her and her intend husband longlife and prosperity.
