Grand Concert.

Notwithstanding the boisterous weather on Monday evening last a good number put in an appearance at the Public Hall, to be present at the Easter Concert, in aid of St. Joseph’s Church. The programme, which proved to be one of the best Submitted to a Te Aroha audience for a long time past, was supplied by leaders of St. Patrick’s choir, Auckland. Every item was given in a masterly manner, and in most cases, encores were demanded and given. Miss Anderson made an efficient accompanist. At the close of the concert the Hall was cleared for dancing, and lovers of the terpsichorean art spent a most enjoyable time. Excellent dance music was provided by the Te Aroha trio, while Mr J. Molloy made an efficient M.C. Refreshments were provided.
