Ladies’ Hockey Club.

The annual meeting of the Te Aroha Ladies’ Hockey Club was held last evening in the Council Chambers. The Treasurer’s balance showed that the Club were in credit to the extent of 4s Id. A vote of thanks was passed to the out going officers and all who had assisted in making the past season so successful and enjoyable. Officers were appointed as follows. Patrons: Messrs Poland and Herries, M.H.R’s; President, His Worship the Mayor; vicepresidents, Mesdames Somers, Pilling, Kenny, Edwards, Spooner. Thompson, Deverell, and Spence; Captain, Miss E. Ryan ; Secretary, Miss Hare; Treasurer, Miss Brownlee; Coach, Mr F. W. Wild ; Executive Committee, the Captain, Treasurer, and Misses Jennings and A. Hare. The subeription was fixed at 2s 6d per annum. It was decided to open the season with a social on the 29th April, 1908.
