At the Supreme Court Cyril Cosgrove, alias Furlong, who pleaded guilty to theft from a dwelling, was brought up for sentence. His Honor, Justice Cooper, said this was the class of offence that must be put down. Prisoner had entered the boarder’s room at an hotel and stolen valuable articles from ,a portmanteau, He was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment.
