AUCKLAND, This Day-
Last night a man named Marshall reported to the police at Poneonby that a couple had fallen from the rock into the water at Shelly Beach. A search waa made but no bodies were found, the Search is being resumed to-day. Alfred Michelly was sentenced to seven years imprisonment for theft of £4,800 from Wingate, Burns and Company. Judge Denniston said there were no mitigating circumstances.
