Dublin Exhibition.
VISIT OP THE KING AND GUEEN. NEW ZEALAND DISPLAY: . PRAISED BY KING AND GUEEN* WELLINGTON, July 11. The following cablegram was received to-day by the Premier jrom the High Commissioner : “ During their visits to the International Exhibition at Dublin to-day (July 10th) their Majesties the King and Gueen visited the New Zealand section, where they were received by Mr W. P. Reeves, High Commissioner and staff. Their Majesties were pleased to walk round the court and examine the .exhibits, showing much interest and asking questions concerning them. The King referred to the extent and importance of the New Zealand frozen meat trade, and also drew the Gueen’a attention to a photograph of fine deer heads. The King complimented the High upon the good display made by New ZeUidn/lV The High Commissioner presented a bouquet to the Gueen on behalf of the colony. LONDON, July 11. The King and Gueen and Princess Victoria were enthusiastically welcomed to Dublin, where they visited the Exhibition. His Majesty, responding to an address, rejoiced that the Exhibition a--* proved successful in promoting commercial and industrial prosperity |in Ireland. >\
After a long inspection, especially of the Irish industries section, the royalties drove through the principal streets of Duhlio, which were conspicuously decorated, amid a continuous roar of cheering and flutter of handkerchiefs, there being no note of dissent, Their Majesties were greatly pleased, and later attended a garden party at the vice-regal lodge.
