Dairy cows realised £4 to £7 12s 6d ; heifers in calf, £3 17s 6d to £6 15s; aged cows, £2 to £3 5s ; calves, l" 3 to £1 2s ; yearlings to 18 months, £1 16 3 to £2 2s ; beef at Newmarket rates. Turkeys, 4s GR : fowls, 4s 6d. Potatoes, 8s to 12s per sdok. A large lot of furniture and sundries sold at satisfactory prices. We held our usual monthly sale at Helens* ville on Wednesday, when a small yarding of pattle and sheep sold at late values. Fat cows, £3 1 s to £5 15s ; empty cows, £llO3 10 £2 10s springing heifers, £3 10s to £5 7s Gd ; calves, 8s to 15s; ewes in lamb, 16s; fat ewes, 15s 6d. At Remuera on Thursday dairy and store cattle came forward in usual numbers ana were dull of sale. F&t and young calves, in short supply, were in Smpll, 2s to 8s ; mediumr to 20s ; heavy, to. 45s ; 82 sold. There was an average yarding of fat cattle of nice quality, which sold freely throughout at late values. Steers ranged in price from £6 10s to £l2 6s ; cows, £3 10s to £7 10s; 302 sold. The sheep penß were well filled with a good class of mutton. Prices were firm at recent quotations, heavy wethers selling to 275, lighter weights to 225, weighty ewes to 19s, others to 17s, hoggets to 17s 9d. Pigs, scarce, sold extra well; baconers to £2 18s, |porkers to 365, small to 12s. Poultry, Is to 2s 6d ; 49 sold.
