Wedding at Te Aroha West.

On Thursday last a wedding was celebrated at Te Aroha West, the contracting parties being Miss Elizabeth Ann Simons, only daughter of Mr W. Simons, and Mr F. J. Whelan of Wellington. Miss Atkins of Te Aroha acted as bridesmaid, and Mr Fraser as groomsman, whilst the ceremony was performed by Rev. E. M. Cowie, vicar of Te Aroha. After the wedding breakfast, the happy pair were driven to Waihou, where they joined the morning train en route for Wellington which is to be their future home.
