MORE COMPETITIONS. Continued efforts are being made to organise interesting and amusing competitions at the Christchurch Exhibition. Wonderland is organising a fresh novelty in the form of a Beauty Show and Physical Culture Competition, which iu to take place on a specially constructed platform in the grounds to-morrow night. The prizes will be given to men and women having the best physical development to the women showing the best shaped arm and shoulder, and to the woman displaying the neatest foot and ankle. The feet and ankles must be displayed bare. A prize valued at . five guineaswill also be given to the maiden, whose who is judged by the votes of those present to be the prettiest girl in Christchurch.

On the same night will be held a sensation which, as will be seen by the perusal of an article in another column, caused immense excitement at Bondi, Sydney, when performed for some weeks. _ A gold nugget valued at £lO. is buried in the sand in Wonderland grounds, and members of the public may secure a digger’s license and a spade for sixpence, enabling them to dig for the buried treasure.
