Stormy Weather.

On Tuesday and Wodnesday some very stormy weather prevailed throughout the district. Incessant rain fel', and a regular gale blew. At times ir looked as if the gale would carry all before it but beyond the levelling of a few fences little damage took place. The Waihou rose rapidly, and the low lying country is inundated. The weather has again taken up, both wind and rain have ceased.
