New Liberal Party.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. luvercargill, This Day. The new Liberal party took the plat form last night and had a rowdy meeti ing. Ooly Messrs Laurenson, and Bedford spoke. The former etatiug generally they wanted reform, especial ly in taxation, and were against parting with Ci own Lands, also against lease in perpetuity. The interruptions were frequent, and apparently intended to annoy the speakers, who were given a vote of thanks.
