THE DUNCAN. SELECTION DIFFICULTY. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, This Day. The New Zealand Rugby Union has issued a circular giving its reasons for the selection of Duncan as coach. They point out that no exception was taken to his engagement for the position when the Englishmen played New Zealand and that he has actually been appointed, so that if it is decided at a meeting to be held for the purpose of not. sending him, they will resign and leave the responsibility q£ cancelling the appointment to those who desire to accept it.
