Another Brute Sentenced.
AN EX-J.P. GETS FOUR YEARS. [by telegraph.—press association.] Westport, this day. A man named Williams, of Waimangaroa, an ex-J.P., was sentenced to four years imprisonment for iudecent assault on a child uuder sixteen. Council asked Judge Haseldeuto reserve law points, but the Judge refused, and said the Council had nis remedy by application to the Attorney General.
