WEDDING BELLS.

The sacred rites of matrimony were celebiated at the Te Aroha Wesleyan Church, on Wednesday morning last, the contracting parties being Miss Sheat, daughter of Mr James Sheat, of Te Aroha West, and Mr Ebenezer Striokett, of Matakohe, Kaipara. The Rev. S. Griffith officiated, and the bride was given away by her father. Miss Gertrude Mackwoodwas the bridesmaid, and Mr Fred. Sheat the best man. After the signing of the register, the happy couple, amid showers of rice and good wishes, and to the lively strains of the ‘ Wedding March,’ p'ay.ed by Miss Hirst, left the church and proceeded by the 11 a.m. train for Auckland en route for their Northern home.
