WAIHOU LIYE STOCK SALE. Messrs MeNicol and Co. held their usual monthly salo at Waihou yesterday. The following were the ruling quotations :—St >re cat Jo, fair number yarded, one year to 18 months ranging from 27s to 50s; store cows, 50s to 65s ; steers, from 60s to 755. Beef : Good number yarded, but with tho exception of those of goed quality, were slower of sale than last month ; cows ranged from. 70s to 965; other beef, mostly heavy weights, were wi'hdiawn, failing to reach reserve prices. Dairy cows, none yarded. Sheep, few yarded, met ready sale; ewes, from 7s 6d to 9s 3d ; wethers, 9s to 9s 6d. Pigs : Weaners sold at Bs.
