Waitoa Road Board.
The usual monthly meeting of -the Waitoa Road Board was held, at Morrinsville oh Saturday last; Present : Messrs Chepmell (Chairman), Aitken, Farmer, and Bellamy. The, minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed.. r . The 'Engineer’s report on works done was read. " y Surfacemen.— There wore sixteen pplicatioDS received for the positions of surfacemen. After considerable discussion it was decided to appoint W. Abby and W. Peverell for three months at 6s per day. , It was decided to have certain works done on Starke's Road at a cost not to exceed £lO, Mr Starke to bear half the cost.
Accounts, as read, were passed for payment.,
