Coolgardie, June 1. A shocking tragedy occurred at. the hospital last night., A party of nurses, including Mrs Gold, widow of Capt. Gold, were dressed , ready to attend a dance, when Peter Snodgrass, a wellknown resident and ex-Member of the Victorian Parliament and brother of Lady Clarke, called and requested an interviewed with Mrs Geld. After some time three shots were heard, and . both were found lying dead. Mrs Gold was shot in'the breast and neok, and Snodgrass in the mouth. A revolver was found by the side of Snodgrass. is a. mystery. —Waikato Times.
