The Orben Case.

The extradition of Dr. Orpen in the McCallum case was granted at San Francisco on 11th April. Orpen’s solicitor made a’ strong fight foi* his client. They have the option of an appeal to Wellington, but this will entail an expenditure of £IOO apart from Counsel’s fee. Orpen will probably be sent by mail boat arriving in Auckland on 7ch June next.
