Ohinemuri County Council.
An interim meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council was held on Thursday afternoon, when there were present: Crs Cock,(in the chair), Mitchell, McAndrew, and Bowler. After the minutes of the previous meeting had been read, the following tenders were opened and dealt with as follows :—•
Contract No. 328. Grading and Gravelling the road from the Grown battery to Raratu township: E. Adolph £73 14s ; L. McNamara £134 8s; C. Ohlsen (accepted) £BB 10s; Martin & Burke £l6B 16s ; Robinson and Stanley £97 14s. Contract 329.—Grading, etc., portion Cadman-street, Waikino : S. G. Coombes (accepted) £l7 10s; Robinson and Stanley £l9 19s. Contract No. 330.—Claying portion Waitoa-Paeroa swampjroad: O’Grady and Jackson (accepted) £205; E. McCarthy £266 10s. Contract No. 381.—Furnishing 200 cub. yds. 4in metal at Mackaytown ford: L. McNamara L 59 3s 4d; T. Boyd L 45; D. J. Evans (accented) L3B 6s 8d; E. Adolph L 45 ;J. Munro L 52 10s; P. Treanor L 49 3s 4d. Contract No. 332.—Forming and kerbing footpaths Waitekauri township : Stanley and Robinson (accepted) L 73 ; Kealing and Rading LIOO ; Coulson and Newson £ll9.
Contract No. 833.—Forming portion of the Waihi-Kntikati road, from Chandler’s to the Bridge : J. Douglas L 249 ; D J. Evans L 256 , P. Herbert L 207; O’Grady and Jackson L2OO 12s 4d ; M. J. Keane (accepted) L 149 10s O. McCabe L 233 6s Bd.
Contract No. 334.—Forming Has-zard-street, Wnihi: J. Douglas L 37 10s ; 11. Morgan L 62 10s ; M. J. Keane (accepted) L 35. The Council then adjourned.
