Te Aroha Jockey Club
On Saturday a meeting of the members of the Te Aroha J.O. was held in the Public Hall. Present: W. M Herries, Esq., M.H.R., in the chair, Messrs Pavitt, Mills, Edwards, Hodgson, Brennan, Ferguson, S LBy grave, Gotz, Hanks,. Farmer, and the secretary (Mr P. Snewin). The action of the subcommittee re arranging for the erection of the Grand Stand, etc., Was confirmed. It was resolved to allow members tickets to remain at 10s 6d, admitting member and one lady only, and not two as heretofore. The secretary was asked to write to Railway Department re putting on a late train for Paeroa. Messrs fierries* Mills, Hodgson and Farmer were appointed, along with the sub-committee, to visit the course on Tuesday and finally deoide site for Grand Stand,
