The shearing at Lockerbie continues as the weather permits. There was a minature ‘ shearers, strike,’ but the cause of trouble was removed and work proceeded harmonously. The Rev Prior, of Auckland, lectured' in the Church here on Thursday evening to a large congregation. Mr WV S, Allen occupied the chair.
