MORRINSVILLE.

The new Anglican Church, opened in May last, is about to be lined. Mr Hogan, the contractor, has the timber vn the ground, and the Work will propably be completed in a fortnight. There are still many extras required to make the inside of the church com-plete—cocoa-nut matting,, carpet for chancel, drapings, etc, which I hope will in time make their appearance. They leave a gap not easy to be filled, and they harry warm good wishes with - them, to their new home, at Fencourt, to which estate Mr Main has been removed as manager Building is’ still the order of the day in Morrinsvillo. - It is hoped that the new school, which has been grantod by tbe Board of Education, will be tbe next building as the present building is much /to small to be conducive to good health in tho hot weather. The Michaelmas holidays are being held here during the first week in September, instead of the last as per Regulation,
