CORRESPONDENCE.
[Under no circumstances whatever is the Editor responsible for matter contained in correspondence ] (to the Editor.) Sir, —Wili jou kindly allow me space to call the ratepayers attention to the dangerous state of the main road from the railway bridge to opposite Mr Bradley’s house. The Works Committee know all about it.. If the road is left in this state I am. afraid that anyone who is no t aware of i t mi ght meet with a serious accident, and the rate-, payers sued for damages. I wonder the tradespeople do not take more interest in having good roads to the township, for they must know that sucH a road provonts sottlors and others coming to the place; which moans money out of their pockets. Anyway, Commissioners who wilfully nrigierit the ratepayers interests in this be asked to resign, or let better men take their places. Loss of a vote or two is at the bottom of it.—lam, etc., A Settler. •
