A veiy good little story has reached my ears, with regard to a peice of ground here. Three gentlemen, well known to the public and each other, met on the steamer leaving Auckland for Paeroa. In the course of conversation, one mentioned 'his business; the others immediately*,told him that they were on the same line, and on comparing notes they found that they were alllafter the same peice of ground, an agreement to amalgamate was entered into at once, so they are all in it. It will interest some of your Te Aroha readers to hear that two new reefs have been located in the Edwin Norman ground, one fifteen one eight feet in thickness.
