WAITOA ROAD BOARD
The ordinaiy monthly mooting of the' Waitoa Road Board, took place in-the Board’s office last Saturday, all themembers being present. A letter was received from the Pay-master-General reporting that £81? feed has been remitted to. the- credit of the Board, being an advance of T. 5 per: cent subsidy. . v . • The Engineer reported, that Mr W*. Moon has not commenced his contract . on the road from Morrinsville to the. Woolshod - ilill-oui tin g. - The Clerk was instructed to write fct Mr Moon and request hint to go on with the contract without delay. - - The Engineer reported that some f repairs are inquired on Grattan’s road. an 4 that the bridge" over Johnson’s! 6reek, r on Taylor’s road, requires repairs, and fascines on same read require -to be covered. The engineer was instructed to call for tenders for work oh Taylor’s road,., and employ , man to repair Grattan’s, road. He was also instructed to. call ffor-tenders for forming a piece of road near the new school at 'YVaihou.
