THE HOLIDAY.
As showing the popularity- of tho way excursions, and- the favour in which Te Aroha is hold by city people as a pleasant spot in which to spend a few happy hours away from the- noise and bustle of town,, was shown by the large number which patronised the excursion yesterday, about 200 persons availed themselves of the opportunity of visiting the premier sanatorium of New Zealand. ■ Immediately upon, arrival of the train they made a bee line for the Domain, and there found ample enjoyment for the time at their disposal, the principle attractionsbeing the baths, of which the swimmingbath came in for a large share of support. • ' ■ . ~ v The Domain Board had anticipated the rush and prepared themselves ac- A cordingly, everything passed off nicely and at five o’clock the tourists embarked upon their return journey to town everyone apparently well pleased with their day’s outings
