(From our own Correspondent.) Waharoa, Monday. The usual monthly meeting of the Waharoa of Hope was held on Saturday evening last. Thej'p was a good attendance. Rev T. A. Nome in the chair. The following programme was satisfactorily carried out, and three new members were enrolled amongst the ranks of total abstainers:—Recitations : A Good Bey, Mis? D. Fiunerty ; A ;J>ap for Lif®, Master H. Scelly ; and Miss F. Soelly ; Tjie Homes of England, Miss E, Brown; The Tempest, Master E. Peureal ; Which Side are you on, Miss B‘ Brown ; Bay Ruric, Master H. Bryant $ A Woman’s Question, Miss L. Brown. Songs : The Daisy, tire Misses BrownI; When the Mists have Rolled Away, Mr Bryant 5 The Army of the Brave, Mr Bryant. On the mßtion of 'J{r Bryant a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the friends who had assisted in procuring lamps for the school lmu.se (where the Band of Hope meetings are held).
