He was identified as one Fox, a tile layer, who resided at Caulfield. He had bac! ed the double of Churchill and Dreadnought for £2OO, and the excitement of winning was too much for him. He had been under the care of a doctor for an affection of the heart, and had been warned against exciting himself.
