NEW ZEALAND CUP ENTRIES.
The entries received on Saturday night last for the New Zealand Cup, run next November, are up to the average of past years in point of number. They total 60, against 54 in 1889, 62 in 1888, 70 in 1887, 80 in 1886, 61 in 1885, 70 in 1884, and 66 in 1883, the initial contest for the race. For once Auek'and owners are poorly represented, Major George's pair Raglan and Reprisal being the only entries. Southern owners, as usual, have responded very freely.
