MR D. O’BRIEN.
Like a sensible man, Mr D. O’Brien always sells with a profit, and this, no doubt, was the reason he disposed of the Nordenfeldb —Crinoline colt to Mr S. H. Gollan at an advance of 150 over the price he paid for him at tho Sylvia Park sale. Those who know most about the colt say he was the cheapest lot of the yearlings sold. Yattacy is the only Auck-land-bred yearling Mr O’Brien will have*in his stable this season, but he has three of Tasman’s progeny of the same age, and h 6 no doubt intends seeing how they shape.
