LORD FALMOUTH’S WINNINGS.

The last mail brought full particulars of Lord Falmouth’s death, and his wonderful career in the English turf world, which his lordship so long adorned. Beginning with 1860, down to the present year, the deceased peer won £255,770 in stakes, six years, however, being blank. Lord Falmouth’s greatest successes were 'the consecutive years of 1877-8-9, in which his total winnings were respectively £34,388, £37,681, and £72,528. The nominations that have been rendered void through Lord Falmouth’s death run to nearly a ; column of the “Sportsman.”
