From Hayr's Tourist Agency ( Auckland), (in reply to the Board's letter, in accordance with resolution passed at previous monthly meeting, authorising the insertion of their advertisement of the springs for another year, and also requesting that Dr Hector's analysis oE the waters be added), advising that an additional page be taken at an extra cost of L 2 2s, as it would be rather crumped if inserted in two pages as at present, and asking whether they should set it up in the present space, or make another paq;o. The Chairman said all the members were in favour of an extra page being contracted for except Mr Uott ; (who, it may be stated, was of opinion the analysis could very well be included; without incnring extra expense, by having the second page set in somewhat smaller typo). Resolved that the extra page bo contracted for. From Edward Gallagher, bus proprietor, as follows :—: — " I request thnt I may bo allowed to attach a small pipe to the end o£ the water pipe at fountain, bo as to £et frosh water f or my premises. If granted lam willing to leave condition 1 ? in your own hands and pay any reasonable charges thnt may be put on it.
