Smile of Fortune Tribute : Messr 8 Farmer and party, who hold this min c and battery on tribute, have had lh c battery going steadily for the last thre* weeks. The stuff going through is not rery rich, but, being handy to the mill, a small yield per ton pays good wages. Maddens Folly : I could not come across the owner of this mine on my last visit, but I learned that the prospects were very encouraging. Mackay and party ore still prospecting on the eastern side of the river, but have not got on anything rich yet,
