THE LATE MR J. MACANDREW.

It is reported that the family of the late Mr Macandrew, who was known as " The Father of the Assembly," who died two or three years ago, have been left in indigenb circumstances. A movement is on foot in the lobbies bo find if there is a majority in the House in favour of voting them a grant of land. If there is such a majority then a motion to that effect will be tabled.
