GOLDFIELDS COMMITTEE.
Thib Committee has passed a resolution asking to be authorised to inquire into and report upon the various .schools of mines, and also to report generally as to the best means of fostering and encouraging the rising industry. It also requests the Government to make suitable provision to have the mining, mineralogy and geology of the colony suitably repiesented at the JDuncdin Exhibition with proper exhibits.
