(Before H. W. Nortlicroft, Esq., R,M). H. Baskivillb v. Jas. Courtney : Claim Lll I3s 3d for goods supplied. No appearance of defendant. Ju Jgmsut for amount claimed with co9ts LI 2s. Wm. H. George y. Louis Pefery : Claim Ll3 la for wages. Sir Wra. Wastneys, solicitor for plaintiff. Defendant stated he did not owe the money or any part of it, but that plaintiff owed him about 30s. Sir Wm. Wastneys asked for adjournment till next Courtday, on the grounds that he had only jast been instructed, and had not had sufficient time to prepare his case. Adjourned till next Court day, plaintiff having to pay costs of adjournment, the cost 3 of three witnesses subpcened by defendant from the Tui, amounting to I<l 133.
