CHURCH UNION. Thames, June 1.

The Auckland inembors of tlio Congro Rational Union have oxprossecl thoir approval of the amended scheme for uniting the Baptist and Congregational churches of the Thames. JEach church i^ to preserve its entire independence and manage its own ailairs in matters of church government and discipline. Ordinary church meetings are to bo held in the buildings belonging to each denomination respectively, but all mcotings of a -social and general character will bo held in common. The Sunday services are to bo held in the Mary-strcot Church, but the Sunday-schools will be carried on as at present;. In accordance with this arrangement the two churches will worship together in Marystieet on and after Sunday, June 9th.
