MAROTOTO.
Maroloto G. ami S. M. Co. : The work now being* carried out on this property, under the superintendance of Mr J. H. Moore, the Company's manager, is confined to stoping over and under the B level, from whence ofg of very fair quality is coming to hand. As has been already stated in these columns, Mr Moore is at present at Thames supervising the treatment of one ton of rich ore from the mine, which is being put through at the School of Mines ; the pans used being those kuown as Railley's. So far as the treatment hns proceeded, there is every reason to expect the yield will be a very satisfactory one ; and, should results come up to expectations, several more tons of ore (which, though not as rich as that now being treated, is nevertheless very valuable stone) from the A. and B. drives, and now lying at Hikutaia, will be sent forward to Thames for treatment at the School of Mines.
