TE AROHA. CONTRACTS LET AT TUI.
Champion G. and S. Mines, New Zealand, Limited : — At a meeting of the directors held in Auckland on Thursday, it was decided to accept the lowest tender for each of the four contracts, particulars respecting which, with full list of tenders received, appe.-ired in our issue of Wednesday. The. contracts let are as follows : — No, 1, Wm, Cornes, at 17s per foot ; No. 2, J. Burke and party, at 29s 9d per foot ; No. 3, Win. Cornes, at 2^s per loot ; No. 4, Patrick Dillon, at 34s per foot.
