SALVATIONISTS PROSECUTED IN AUSTRALIA.
SYDNEY, Nov. 1. The prosecution of Salvationists at Woollongong is causing some stir. Eight officers havfc been sentenced to three months' imprisonment for taking part in public processions. The newspapers deprecate and denounce the law which confers upon Municipal Corporations the power to control the religious profession of a community.
