Auckland, July 23. The R.M.S. Mariposa, Captain H. M. Hayward, arrived alongside the whar^ from San Francisco at two o'clock to-day. Mr T. Smith, purser, reports of the passage : — Sailed from San Francisco on July Ist at 3.30 p.m. immediately on arrival of the English mails. Arrived at Honolulu on July Bth at 7.30 a.m. md sailed same day at 3 p.m. Touched at Tutuila July loth at 1 p.m. Sighted Tiri at 11 o'clock this morning, arriving as above. She brings ihe following passengers for Auckland : — Hon. Fielding Clark and wife, Miss Maud Greig, S. Jones, Capt. Philp, G. W. Small, E. (.5. Wilkinson, E. P. AYatkis, 0!. H. Williamson, and 5 steerage ; and 74 cabin and 24 steerage in transit lor Sydney.
