Three men working at a patenb chemical manure works, (ieelong, have been poisoned by chemical fumes. While working they complained of feeling ill and had to be sent home. One of them, John Gibson, a married man with a family, died in great agony next morning, and the two others, John Hunt and Hy. 11. Scott, aiein a very dangerous state. 1b is surmised that the fumes, arising fiom t n o manure and the acids used in the manufacture of superphosphates were inhaled by the men, with the result above ntated.
