TE AROHA. THE PARKES' PROCESS.
Mr Alex. Parke-9, accompanied by i\lr J. M. Chambers and Mr C. A. Corncs on Wednesday again visited the several proposed Bites for the erection of the smelter and other plant in connection with the Parke's Gold .Saving Process, and finally selected a site of five acres nfc the foot of tho mill adjourning the racecourse and at tho rear of Mrs. Wainwright's house. It ia said the plant will probably be erected and ready for work within two months from now, all the machinery it was necessary to import being now in Auckland. On Thursday MeßBra Parkes, Chambers, an 1 Comes proceeded to Karangahake, stayed Jhere Thursday night, returning to Te Aroha last evening. Mr J. M. Chambers loaves for Thames and Auckland to-day, but returns to Te Aroha next week. Whilst at Karangakeke at offer made to the tribntera in the Kenilworth mine to purchase a quantity of oro from them was accepted, the price to be on a sliding scale as per bulk assay value after passing through the stone breaker at Karangnhake, where the purchasers would take delivery. This first plant about to be erected will bo capable of smelting six tons of ore per day.
