An Extraordinary Robbery.

John Wright Douglas, builder, Caulfield. ■was robbed of £550 in an extraordinary manner. He had drawn the sum out of the bank, and had put it in a bag in his buggy in order to pay his men. He got out oi: the buggy in Swanstonstieet endeavouring to do some shopping, leaving a boy in charge. When he returned tho bag was gone. The boy states that someone came up and asked him to read an address on an envelope, and it is surmised that tht? v as? a confederate of the thief, who stole the bag -while the boy's attention was drawn away.
