Shooting Affray on Board Ship THREE SEAMEN WOUNDED.
A seiious shooting affray ocruncd at Biisbane on boaid the ship Bannh're, ju&fc atri\ed from Glasgow. JSomo of fcho crew weie allowed to go on shore during the evening, ami returned late and intoxicated. Eight 01 nine were incensed at tho action of Dudgeon, fcho second mate, for locking up a companion, and armed themselves with clubs and other missiles to assault him The second mate was coming from the captain's eabm when his assailants rushed upon him and a carpenter's apprentice. Dudgeon was forced back to the cabin, and then advanced upon his assailants with firearms. He fired three shots from a revolver and the apprentice fired one shot. The crew fell back and then ascertained that three of their number were slightly wounded by the shots. They ■\\eie com eyed to the hospital and are progcs'ing well. Dudgeon and Blackwood, the apprentice*, were charged before a magi'stin.te with wounding with intent to do grie\ous bodily haim. The ease was pai tly heard and then adjourned.
